As an artist his work has been exhibited throughout the world. His awards and prizes include; The National Arts For The Parks competition, The All New England Show, The Barnum Circus Festival, International Tokyo Art Competition, The Nevada State Museum in Carson City and a purchase award for the National Wright Brothers Memorial.
Steve's illustrations and paintings have been published in over 49 international magazines. He is listed Artists USA, Who's Who In American Art. His work is also in the Smithsonian and The White House Collections.
After having won A National Design commission sponsored by the Franklin Mint, Steve received a commission by the state of Nevada to design a series of Commemorative Medallions. These Nevada Commemorative Medallions were minted on the press that created The original 'Carson City Dollars," and are sold through out the state. Steve also designed a series of western Helldorado tokens that commemorate the building of The Hoover Dam

Steve Lesnick is the inventor of several art materials an equipment. His most popular invention has been that of The Funny Brush That has been successfully marketed internationally since 1973.
As an Artist Educator, Steve has been an instructor for the Famous Artists of The American School Of Art. For almost 20 years he wrote the national syndicated "Art Is For Everyone" newspaper column. He is also the author of "How To Paint And Draw" Art books. He also had the largest art school in the state of Nevada for over 25 years. Many of his students have succeeded to become accomplished professional artists.
